Fire Surround Colour options

Having a full industrial spray shop and polishing facility onsite, and are able to offer a wide range of colour finishes.

Wooden fire surrounds are firstly stained to your chosen colour, sealed with clear lacquer, sanded, coloured to the correct shade and finally fire surrounds are top coated with a 20% sheen hard wearing lacquer. This process seals the timber and enables simple cleaning of your new fire surround and prolongs the life of the timber which should last for decades.

We offer a colour matching service to colour match your existing furniture.

A free sample service is available for all our wooden fire surrounds.

Polished Black Granite Hearth and Back Panel

Price: £325.00 Hearth and back panel.

Polished Black Granite hearth and back panels give a great contrast to lighter fire surrounds, especially the lighter solid wood fire surrounds or white satin, Ivory satin or barley white fire surrounds. Also looks great with chrome fires.
The granite is jet black with a faint fleck of silver.

Walnut Fire Surrounds

Walnut fireplace surrounds are manufactured from 100% solid American black walnut.

Each piece of walnut is then selected and graded in order to obtain a consistent grain pattern and colour to produce the fireplace and will therefore be unique and possess its own individual character which is only possible with natural timber.

All mouldings, profile cutting and other machined parts are produced by ourselves using the same stock of walnut. Each solid walnut fireplace surround can therefore be custom made and design altered to suit your requirements.

Prestige Fireplaces Nottingham were established in 1994 and are manufacturers of fine quality made to measure solid timber wooden fire surrounds and natural stone fireplace hearths and inserts. Delivery is available throughout the UK.

Made To Measure Service

Our made to measure service is available normally at no extra cost.

Having a fully equipped wood working machine shop, we produce wooden fire surrounds made to any size to suit all types of fireplace, including surrounds for gas fires; Electric fires; Cast Iron Inserts; Solid fuel fireplaces; wood burning stoves and multi-fuel stoves.

Solid Oak Fire Surrounds

Oak fire surrounds are hand made from 100% solid oak and finished in a choice of 10 standard colours and finishes. We do not use MDF veneered boards.
Colour matching service is also available.

Fire surrounds are spray stained and lacquered to your chosen colour. This process seals the timber for life. Alternatively, fire surrounds can be either finished with bees wax or Danish oil.

Only the finest quality kiln dried oak is used to manufacture fire surrounds and related products. The whole process of machining through to assembly and finishing is done on site.

Delivery is available throughout the UK by our own dedicated drivers and the services of a fragile courier company.

White Wooden Fire Surrounds

White fire surrounds are manufactured to a high standard and spray finished with hard wearing pre-catalyst paints.
They are finished to a 20% sheen which is virtually matt and are easily cleaned using a soft clean damp cloth.

We currently have white and off white colours available. White Satin and Farrow and Ball Pointing Satin, but most colours are available if required. Simply supply a RAL Code.

Alternatively, fire surrounds can be supplied with a white primer finish ready for painting.
